Q: What is Ratiocine?
A: A browser extension (Chrome + Firefox) and web service for saving, organizing, publishing, and sharing text prompts or sequences in shareable collections.
Q: Can I use it without signing in?
A: Yes. Save and organize prompts locally without an account. Publishing, sharing collections, and cloud sync require a free Google OAuth account.
Q: What's the difference between local and published?
A: Local prompts stay in your browser. Published prompts go to the cloud and appear in the Discover tab.
Q: How do collections work?
A: Group prompts in order, share as a single link. Edit title/description, reorder, remove. Unlisted collections are private (link-only access).
Q: What are the free tier limits?
A: 10 publishes to cloud. 20 prompts in local vault. Limits are separate.
Q: Does it work on Chrome and Firefox?
A: Yes. Same features on both.
Q: Is my data private?
A: Local data never leaves your browser. Published data is server-side and visible to others. See Privacy Policy.
Q: How do I delete my data?
A: Delete individual prompts or unpublish. Uninstall removes all local data.
Q: How do I share a collection?
A: Edit a collection, click Share to copy a link. Anyone with the link can view.
Q: Who can see published prompts?
A: Published prompts appear in Discover for all users. Unlisted collections are link-only.
