If you sign in using Google or another authentication provider, authentication is handled by that provider. We never receive or store your password.
Prompt Content
We collect prompts, folders, notes, tags, and other content that you choose to synchronise or publish using the Service.
Content stored only on your own device is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to synchronise or upload it.
Your Prompts
Private prompts remain accessible only to you and are processed solely to provide the Service.
If you choose to publish prompts publicly, they become visible within the Ratiocine community and may be viewed, searched, indexed within the Service, copied, or shared by other users.
You are responsible for ensuring that publicly shared prompts do not contain confidential, personal, or sensitive information.
Usage Information
To operate, improve, and secure the Service, we may collect information such as:
- feature usage;
- interaction statistics;
- vote counts;
- crash reports;

Where reasonably possible, we minimise or anonymise this information.
Payment Information
If you purchase a Premium subscription, payments are securely processed by Stripe.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We may receive limited payment information necessary to manage subscriptions, including payment status, subscription status, customer identifiers, and transaction references.

- authenticate users;
- synchronise prompts across devices;
- display publicly shared prompts;

5a. Subprocessors
We currently rely on the following third-party subprocessors to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
- Cloudflare — application hosting, CDN, and edge runtime.
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
- Mailgun — transactional email delivery (account, security, and moderation notices).
- Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth.
Each subprocessor receives only the data needed to perform its function and is bound by data-protection terms appropriate to its role.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Generally:
- account information is retained until your account is deleted;
- synchronised prompts remain until deleted by you;
- publicly shared prompts remain until removed by you or moderated by Ratiocine;
- payment records are retained as required by financial and tax laws;
- security and diagnostic logs may be retained for fraud prevention and security purposes.
When you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. You may cancel the deletion request by signing in during that window. After the 30-day grace period expires, your account and associated data are permanently deleted by an automated purge.
Following permanent deletion, certain information may remain in secure platform backups only for the duration of the backup provider's own retention schedule.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, organisational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These safeguards may include:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS);
- secure authentication;
- access controls;
- infrastructure security;
- software updates;
- monitoring for abuse and security threats.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your own devices and account credentials.

Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we implement appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection laws.
